Young Member Opportunities
GSITE is proud to support young members in the transportation industry. As young professionals in transportation, it is important to make connections and network with others. The goal of GSITE YP is to provide these opportunities to connect and network. We achieve this goal by hosting social events throughout the year for members. We also occasionally collaborate with other young professional organizations to host larger events.
GSITE Monthly Meetings are another great opportunity to network and also hear some great transportation presentations. Several of our YP members have presented at these monthly meetings as a part of the GSITE Next Generation Speaker Series.
The pictures shown are some of the fun events we have done in the past. This YP Members page is updated throughout the year to share opportunities specifically for young members. The events are also posted on the GSITE LinkedIn page.
GSITE All-Member BBQ and Bags
Join GSITE for an evening of food, drinks, and games at 4:30pm on Thursday, September 3rd. All GSITE members and families are welcome. The event will be held at the Faust Shelter in Faust Park at 15185 Olive Blvd, Chesterfield, MO 63017. The shelter is in the southwest quadrant of the park near the playground and is shown in the map below. Food from Dalie’s Smokehouse will be provided for the group.
The cornhole tournament will begin at 5pm on the day of the event. Teams of two may sign up using the optional cornhole responses in the RSVP form. Brackets for the tournament will be built prior to the event, so be sure to claim your spot! The tournament is free to enter, and the top team will receive a prize.
