Future of Roadway Design Criteria

The next version of the Greenbook is forecasted to include a significant shift toward performance-based design methods. This shift represents a significant progression in the advancement from broad quantified standard design parameters. To prepare for the two leaders of the Burns & McDonnell Transportation Safety Team will present some foundational elements and lessons learned from early adoption of performance-based standards. The presentation will include what clients and consultants can do to prepare for this foundational shift in design practice.
